We now know the name of the next expansion for Bungie’s Destiny, as a leaked marketing poster has revealed that it is called Rise of Iron. The poster made an appearance on Reddit last night, though the official reveal of the expansion is expected to happen at E3.

Despite the leaked nature of the reveal, Kotaku claims that they have confirmed the authenticity of this poster with two sources familiar with Bungie. The expansion is set to be bigger than the year-one DLC packs, which will include a new raid amongst other things. While it remains to be seen at this point, it is suggested that this expansion will be of a similar size to the recent Taken King expansion.

While Destiny 2 was originally set to launch this year, Bungie ended up delaying it to 2017 earlier this year. Apparently the game has been “rebooted,” with The Taken King’s director Luke Smith taking over the project after the Bungie staff went through a reorganization phase. More information regarding the sequel is expected to be coming later this year.

The last major Destiny expansion was called The Taken King, which launched last year and fixed many of the problems that people had with the base game. We loved the expansion when we reviewed it, which you can check out by clicking right here.
