Destiny: The Taken King has certainly been no stranger to controversy. One of these was the fact that longtime players felt a bit under appreciated, as newer players received benefits and discounts galore with the purchase of the upcoming DLC expansion.

Bungie promised that those who played a bunch of Destiny during its first year wouldn’t be left out though, and today we get a great look at the promised rewards.

The official Destiny: The Taken King VIP Rewards are offered only to those Guardians that purchase The Taken King and have reached light level 30, or also purchased the first two DLC expansions.

These things need to be done by August 31st to be eligible, so if you need a few levels, or intend to buy the first two expansions, you might want to hurry up. You’ll also need to buy and play Destiny: The Taken King some time before February 1st of 2016.

As far as what the rewards are, you can see them all in the video below. They include “an exclusive commemorative Player Emblem, Sparrow, Armor Shader, and more.” The items will become available inside of Destiny upon launch of The Taken King on September 15th.
