Deus Ex: Human Revolution could be Xbox One backwards compatible in the near future.

With Mankind Divided due out in early 2016, playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution first could be a good way for new fans to familiarize themselves with the series first.

The Deus Ex Twitter page confirmed that it is working on getting Human Revolution backwards compatible for the Xbox One. The page is hoping to have some good news on the matter very soon.

Microsoft does need to ask permission from the publisher in order to make Xbox 360 games playable on Xbox One first. Square Enix is willing to make it happen, so hopefully the game does not have any problems being compatible.

Microsoft only said licensed games might have some trouble being backwards compatible. This might include sports games with songs and movie licenses too. Human Revolution is an original game, so it shouldn’t have that trouble.

Fans will have to wait until November to play any Xbox 360 games anyway. Only preview members have access to backwards compatibility right now. Every other Xbox One owner needs to wait for the update in November to come.

Hopefully Deus Ex: Human Revolution is playable for Xbox One owners very soon. As mentioned before, it will introduce new fans to the series before the new game comes out.
