To celebrate the one year anniversary of Diablo III, Blizzard is giving players an added bonus for logging in and doing some demon hunting over the next week. Â Players will get free buffs for Diablo III between May 15th and May 21st, These buffs boost Magic Find and EXP Stats by 25%.
The buffs apply to all characters, and stack with other in-game bonuses. Â According to Blizzard, “the +EXP bonus will stack multiplicatively and the Magic Find bonus will stack above the 300% cap.”
Diablo III has seen numerous updates in the year since release. Â Updates to the gameplay which include PvP dueling, an increased level cap, variable monster power beyond the scope of the normal skill levels, and a lengthy fetch quest that has players searching for the Keywarden’s across the games’ four acts are among a few of the key additions we’ve seen since launch.
Like many Blizzard games, it’s seen its fair share of updates over the last year. Recently, one of these updates made headlines for opening a loophole in the auction house that caused a massive hiccup in the game’s economy. One year later, Diablo fans have been vocal about their complaints about the highly anticipated release. From the always online connectivity issues that plagued the game at launch, to the poorly executed coupling of the real money auction house and looting mechanics, this first year for Diablo III has been anything but smooth sailing.
