Valve has just announced that the Dota 2 Compendium 2015 Ward & Taunt Treasure stretch goals have been unlocked.
As a result of the $6.5 million stretch goal being surpassed owners of the Dota 2 Compendium 2015 will find both the Compendium Ward and Taunt Treasure in their backpack. The stretch goals are set for the size of the Dota 2 International 2015 Grand Finals prize pool. Every time a Compendium is purchased 25% of the cost goes directly to the prize pool. Additional Compendium Points also available for purchase, adding to the prize pool using the same 25% of their purchase price system.
The Taunt Treasure called “The Manual of Fearsome Moves” contains taunts that are usable while heroes are moving. Available for players to unlock from the Treasure include taunts for twelve different heroes who are: Magnus, Batrider, Rubick, Clockwerk, Zeus, Luna, Shadow Fiend, Troll Warlord, Tidehunter, Skywrath Mage, Gyrocopter, and Sniper. Each time a player opens the The Manual of Fearsome Moves Treasure they will randomly receive two of the twelve taunts.
Valve has now sent out invitations to the Grand Finals of the 2015 International. This means Compendium owners who locked in their invitation predictions can now check if they were correct. Compedium Points, which level up a player’s Compendium and unlock them additional content, are awarded for correct predictions.
