Bandai Namco has decided to launch by surprise a new update for the very successful Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 which implements big gameplay changes, enough to make battles even more spectacular and thrilling. The new update, which is free for all owners of the game, introduces a new state that gives fighters a boost in energy and stats, and new techniques, SSGSS transformations, a new online mode for 2v2 matches. Let’s review all of them in detail.
The new Limit Burst is a new battle technique that increases the character’s strength in a moment of desperate need. Another technique, Flash Revive allows players to revive another character using part of their own HP, which can effectively change the course of the fight.
Fans of customized characters will enjoy the new options to edit the skills and looks of their masters after raising their friendship levels. This allows them to change their skills and even their appearance in multiple ways, and they will also be able to take them in quests and other adventures, launch powerful combined attacks, and perform some of the most iconic moves of the anime.
As for the online modes, you can now engage in multiplayer fights with your partner, and even more exciting events and new rules are still coming. The list of new additions rounds up with new outfits and Colosseum features, as well as 9 new scenarios.
