EA Sports Set To Reveal NHL 16 Later This Month

by Damian Seeto

EA Sports has now announced the first reveal for NHL 16 will be coming later this month.

The official EA Sports NHL Twitter page announced:

Full Feature Reveal: May 19th

Other than that, no other additional details on NHL 16 were shared. They put up a mock cover for the game, but no athlete was shown. Much like the Madden series, they usually get the fans to vote who is on the cover of the game each year. This is different from 2K Sports’ NBA and WWE games where the cover athletes are chosen for us.

Fans are hoping that NHL 16 is a big improvement over NHL 15. NHL 15 made its debut for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles, but it was met with a mixed reception from fans and critics. This is because loads and loads of features were cut. NHL 15 had much less content than NHL 14 did. This is a similar scenario with WWE 2K14 and WWE 2K15. The “newer” game lacked features.

A lot of fans on Twitter have already tweeted to EA Sports hoping NHL 16 will be better. Pretty graphics are nice, but people want to be able to play all the features from the previous games. Hopefully ice-hockey fans are not disappointed this year.
