EA is warning gamers not to be fooled by fake beta sign-ups for the Star Wars Battlefront beta happening this October.

EA’s community manager, Matthew Everett posted on Reddit:Registration has not been made available yet. Do not be fooled by fake beta sign-up sites. Our beta registration will live on our official site here: starwars.ea.com. I will also be sure to post a link once it is available.”

If you stumble across a website that claims to give you access to the upcoming beta, avoid it immediately as it could be people wanting to steal information from you. Just visit the official website for more info on the beta.

The Star Wars Battlefront beta will be available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. EA promises you don’t have to pre-order the game in order to get access. However, they have yet to announce how you are able to get a code to participate. Hopefully they cave in and give access to everyone eventually.

The beta will be very generous offering many modes that you can try out before the game officially comes out in November 17th, 2015. Hopefully the beta is successful so the game is bug-free when it comes out to the public.
