Fallout 4: Nuka-World is the final bit of DLC that the game will receive. This puts a whole lot of expectations on it to be a big finale for the hit open-world game. Until now we’ve been left with very little details, allowing speculation to run wild. However, today we get our first real look at the DLC expansion, and it’s looking great. We also got the official release date, putting it at August 30th for all systems.
The gameplay trailer, which you can see below, shows off a huge new world to explore. Taking queues from Coca-Cola and various theme parks such as Disney World, Nuka-World looks like a dystopian funland. There are games to play, but also some fights to be won. And, of course, Fallout 4: Nuka-World comes with some new Workshop pieces to mess with.
The DLC’s description reads “Nuka-World is a vast amusement park featuring Raider gangs and unique park zones like Safari Adventure, the World of Refreshment, Dry Rock Gulch, Kiddie Kingdom, Galactic Zone, and Nuka-Town, USA. Nuka-World features new quests, Raiders factions, weapons, creatures and more. Enjoy the ride!”
Fallout 4: Nuka-World may be the last piece of DLC for the 2015 game, but it is looking like it could be the best yet. Of course, outside of Far Harbor the expansions for Fallout 4 haven’t been all that interesting, but still, if it can beat out that other massive new addition to the game we’ll be very pleased.
Fallout 4: Nuka-World hits PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 30th. It can be purchased separately or as part of the Season Pass.
