Star Wars: The Force Awakens is continuing to dominate more than a month after its initial release and doesn’t seem to have any signs of stopping. Since the movie came out, more and more has been revealed about some behind the scenes elements of the movie, and the latest has revealed that someone familiar to fans of The Force Unleashed games had a few different voice roles in the movie.

The official Star Wars website revealed in the last few days a list of many of the random aliens and Stormtroopers from the movie that were uncredited, down to exactly what their lines were. We already told you about the supposed Kojima connection, and it now has its own inter-Star Wars connection.

Sam Witwer may be best known in the TV realm for his stint on Being Human or Smallville, but in gaming he was the one known as Starkiller in the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed games. He didn’t just do the voice acting, but motion capture as well that led to the character looking just like him. He followed that up with appearances as Darth Maul in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and The Emperor in Star Wars Rebels, as well as both of them in Disney Infinity 3.0, so he definitely has a Star Wars connection.

This connection is likely how he got a chance to take part in Star Wars: The Force Awakens as he voiced several different Stormtroopers throughout the movie. His lines included things such as “Go, go, go!” and “Unauthorized TIE launch.”

Noticeably absent from this list is the supposed Daniel Craig Stormtrooper that JJ Abrams wouldn’t confirm, but others have. It will be interesting how long they hold out on that one, with them giving us new information like the above lately.
