MAG has been out on the PS3 for quite some time now, but that’s not stopping Zipper Interactive and Sony from launching a free trial for the game on the PlayStation Plus PSN network. The Move enabled shooter is coming to the PlayStation store for $29.99, and if you want to try before you buy, and are a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you will have access to a full demo for the game.
In all fairness, it’s not a full demo, you are capped at level 8. But the thing is you can continue to play after you reach level 8, you just cant earn the rewards associated with the latter levels in the game.
Massive Action Game probably never got the love it truly deservered for being so far ahead of its time. The PlayStation 3 Exclusive was, if anything, ambitious. With so many players on the map at one time, it truly lives up to it’s name.
It’s definitely worth a try, and if it’s your bag… you should buy it. We need more grunts on the battlefield.
