A ton of great features have come to the Xbox One, but something that is still missing is mouse and keyboard support. Microsoft promises that it is still coming eventually.

A Twitter user asked Xbox Head, Phil Spencer, if keyboard and mouse support will still be coming to the Xbox One. Spencer’s answer is a positive one as he tweeted: “Yes, we will get this done.

Another Xbox executive also chimed in on how mouse and keyboard support will be implemented on the console. Mike Ybarra replied with: “When we do it, we’ll be smart about it. Game devs will too. We all know the competitive elements.”

Some people are worried about mouse and keyboard support because it might be unfair for traditional controller players on FPS style of games. It’s common among gamers that using a mouse and keyboard is more accurate and responsive compared to using a controller.

Mouse and keyboard support might not be available to use on every game, but it would be useful for Halo Wars 2. Keyboard and mouse support will also be useful for navigating apps such as YouTube, Netflix and more.
