Microsoft wants to make it clear that they’ve got a lot of games coming to the Xbox One this year. Phil Spencer recently outlined all of the games on the way to the Xbox One, and calls gaming on the system this holiday season “unmatched.”
Spencer reiterated all of what was shown at E3 2014, and it’s certainly a healthy line-up for the Xbox One.
The list of Xbox Exclusives for the holiday season include: Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 2, Ori and the Blind Forest, Dance Central Spotlight, Disney’s Fantasia: Music Evolved, Project Spark, Killer Instinct: Season 2, and Fable Legends (multiplayer beta).
Of course, there are also a lot of third party games arriving on the console. Some of which include exclusive content on the Xbox One. Dragon Age: Inquisition, Call of Duty, and Evolve will all have some sort of benefit for playing on the Xbox One.
You can find Microsoft’s full list of upcoming games on the Xbox Wire.
By most accounts Microsoft has done well in changing their focus towards a gaming first mentality. E3 2014 was a stark contrast to last year’s showing. With Mattrick gone, and Spencer at the helm of Xbox, we definitely saw a different side of the company which had very little to say about the other media features of their console.
