Fans of the twin-stick shooter genre will have a lot to be happy about when newest entry in the fan-favorite Geometry Wars series debuts with Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions.
The Lucid Games developed Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions is set to release later this month. A team comprised of some developers from Bizarre Creations looks to take the newest entry forward with fifty new challenges in the single player campaign, new game modes, boss battles and 3D arenas to name a few.
Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions will also feature 8 player competitive online and 4 player local co-operative multiplayer. The PlayStation version includes two exclusive challenges, the first ‘Symbolic’ which features clusters of enemies that spawn in the shape of the buttons on the PlayStation controller. The other, ‘Secret Eye’ challenge that features a triangle shaped grid with constantly spawning enemies is currently only available to those who pre-order on the PlayStation Store. Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions is set to release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC on November 25th followed by Xbox One and Xbox 360 release on November 26th.
