Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has been delayed again. The shooter which was originally scheduled to launch prior to March 31st, has been pushed back to May 22nd in the US Â (May 25th UK) on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Ubisoft does have a PC version of the game in the works, but it won’t be arriving until a “later date”, likely similar to what they’ve done with Assassin’s Creed.
Ubisoft released a statement to go alongside the announcement of the delay.
“These extra few months will allow Ubisoft’s creative teams more time to refine the experience and deliver a game that fully achieves the level of excellence that defines the Ghost Recon franchise.
The Ghost Recon franchise is known for setting the standard of high definition gaming and we believe the extra couple of months will allow us to reach that goal. We would like to thank all Ghost Recon fans for their patience and look forward to unveiling some exciting new elements in the coming weeks.”
Expect the multiplayer beta for Ghost Recon Future Solider to arrive sometime in April, and to be available on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
