At the beginning of the month, Rayquaza was introduced into Pokémon GO as the third Hoenn Legendary in the game. Groudon entered the game late last year and later left, and Kyogre was available in the game for a few weeks before leaving earlier this month. Now, for a limited time, all three Legendaries will be available to battle and catch at the same time for a “Legendary Week of Raid Battles.”
According to a post on the official Pokémon GO website, Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza will all be available in the game via Raid Battles from February 23 through March 5. Additionally, Pokémon that hatch from Eggs will change depending on which Legendary is defeated the most in Raid Battles. If Rayquaza is defeated the most, Pokémon that prefer windy weather (Dragon, Flying and Psychic-types) will hatch from Eggs more often; if Groudon is defeated the most, Pokémon that prefer sunny weather (Fire, Ground and Grass-types) will hatch more often; and if Kyogre is defeated the most, Pokémon that prefer rainy weather (Water, Electric and Bug-types) will hatch more often.
To help players participate more in Raid Battles, new boxes will become available in the in-game store that include Raid Passes. These new boxes become available on February 24.
