Rockstar loves their holidays it seems, announcing yet another special treat for GTA players. The GTA Online Halloween Surprise update just appeared in the game, offering some themed items, as well as a cool new gamemode. Players can buy the items starting now and going until November 16th. After that they won’t be available, unless you already purchased them of course.

The special GTA Online Halloween Surprise items are two new vehicles: the Lurcher Hears and the Franken Stange. 20 Halloween themed bobble heads for use customizing your lowriders. New monster masks available at the mask shop. 30 new spooky face paint styles. and the new Slasher Adversary Mode.

This last one is probably the most interesting item in the update. “Enjoy thrills and suspense with the lights out in this tense new Adversary Mode for up to 8 players. Run, hide, and fight to survive in the darkness as the player designated as the Slasher stalks their prey with a Shotgun. Use your new Flashlight to navigate if you dare, but be careful not to reveal your position or you’ll quickly become prey. Survive for 3 minutes and you’ll get the chance to return the favor with a Shotgun of your own.”

The GTA Online Halloween Surprise update is available now for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. As Rockstar has ended support for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, don’t expect it to hit those systems.
