Rockstar loves to celebrate holidays in GTA Online, with a special emphasis on Independence Day, July 4th. We’ve seen years of celebrations that included fireworks, new items, new cars, and more. This year is no different, and Rockstar has just dropped the details for the upcoming GTA Online event.
First up is the brand new Super Car, the Dewbauchee Vagner. With a heavy focus on speed this new super car looks gorgeous and can be purchased starting today at Legendary Motorsports. Though the lack of an announced price tag makes me think of the old adage “if you have to ask, you can’t afford it.”
Next up is a new adversary mode within GTA Online. Dawn Raid involved parachutes, late night attacks, and tons of enemies, along with double RP and GTA$ until July 10th. “Gun down your enemies under the cover of darkness as you race to track down highly coveted contraband in Dawn Raid, the newest mode added to GTA Online. Two teams of up to six parachute into a combat zone in search of a transmitter hidden inside of a package. Your objective is to find it and transport it to the evacuation zone. Armed to the teeth and aided with Night and Thermal Vision Goggles, you must utilize the Trackify app to locate the correct package. But be careful, using Trackify makes you vulnerable to enemy fire.”
