Guy Mistakenly Banned From WWE 2K16 By Creating Hulk Hogan

A WWE 2K16 owner was banned from the 2K servers earlier this week for simply creating Hulk Hogan in the game.

If we rewind back to earlier this year, WWE unceremoniously fired Hulk Hogan for making inappropriate racial remarks during a sex tape he made several years ago.

This also prompted 2K Games to remove him from the WWE 2K16 video game too. Since he’s not in the game, people have to create him from scratch themselves.

Daniel Comer went on twitter to say that he got banned on WWE 2K16 online servers earlier this week for creating Hulk Hogan. Obviously he was upset about this as more offensive things have been created.

The game’s community manager, Bryan Vore, confirmed that creating Hulk Hogan should not result in a ban. A day later, Comer’s ban was lifted so it must have been a mistake.

Last year, 2K Games were cracking down on people creating Chris Benoit in WWE 2K15. This is more understandable since Benoit murdered his son and wife before killing himself. Other things like Hitler and Nazi signs were also banned.

Even though Hulk Hogan’s remarks are bad, it looks like 2K Games won’t be punishing people for creating him in WWE 2K16. If you have been banned or punished, contact 2K Support or Bryan Vore on Twitter to help you out.
