Alex Seropian was one of the founding members of Bungie.  While the co-founder has moved on to other things since Bungie, he sill believes that 343 Industries and Microsoft are more than capable of delivering the type of blockbuster experience that Halo fans have grown accustomed to.  In a recent interview with Gamespot, Seropian explained why he thinks the franchise is in good hands with 343.

“Halo is one of the crown jewels in the Microsoft gaming IP, if not the crown jewel,” Seropian said.  “You would expect nothing less than for them to take the time needed and apply the resources needed to make it great… I would be pretty surprised if they whiffed it… I’m looking forward to it,” the ex-Bungie man said.

“I’m hopeful that it will continue to bring the high production value and cool experiences it’s known for.”

Halo 4 is set for release this fall, and with that release date closing in rapidly, you have to expect that Microsoft will be revealing more about the highly anticipated franchise in the coming weeks and months ahead.  After all, this is the Halo game that fans have been waiting for since the release of Halo 3 all the way back in 2007.  Although Bungie did an excellent job with both Halo: O.D.S.T. and Halo: Reach, this is continuation of one of the biggest stories in gaming and the story of Master Chief and Cortana.
