Halo 4 to be revealed this month?

A report out of a Finland suggests that Microsoft is getting set to reveal Halo 4 later this month. We haven’t heard a peep out of Microsoft about the game which is scheduled for a fall 2012 release, and the company is getting ready to hold their annual Spring Showcase Event for the Xbox 360.

The Spring Showcase could very well hold details about Halo 4, and will be taking place on February 29th. It’s hard to tell if these rumors are true, but they sound logical nonetheless.

Halo 4 has been described as a story both about Master Chief and his partner Cortana, who is nearing her lifespan. Earlier, 343 Industries detailed a small portion of the Halo 4 plot that suggested Cortana will face a state of “rampancy”, and it will be Master Chief’s job to save her.

Halo 4 will be the biggest game out of 343 Industries who has recently taken the reigns of the popular franchise from Bungie. Stay tuned later this month for more details, if they arrive as the rumor suggests.
