Clocking in at just under eight minutes, the Death Stranding launch trailer gives players their best look at the upcoming PS4 game from Kojima Productions. While the title has been shrouded in mystery ever since its huge debut, it seems that a week out from release the shroud is finally coming off. While the scenes don’t seem to spoil anything in particular, thanks to some tricky editing, this trailer will give you much more story and plot details than anything that’s come before. This close to release, is that what you want?

The answer is up to you, but given how long fans have waited for anything Death Stranding related to be released, they’ll probably all give it a watch. However, if you can hold out it may be for the best, though be sure to wait for our full review in the coming days to see if the game is right for you. Still, Death Stranding has always been a confusing game, with many wondering about the basics of the story and gameplay, so maybe more is better after all.

I tend to try to go in as cold and unspoiled as possible, if I think I’m going to be a fan of a game, movie, or whatever. With that in mind, I’d skip this one myself. But for those who prefer to know and see as much as possible before diving into the game and its reviews, the trailer is below. Be ready to still be confused though. There seems to be a whole lot to unpack about the game even just in this little chunk of it. You will get a firmer understanding of Sam’s mission and the characters that he meets along the way. So maybe that’s worth burning through a few things that look to be pretty spoilery.
