John Boyega Inquires About Star Wars Battlefront’s Lack Of A Story Mode

Star Wars Battlefront released last November just ahead of the record breaking Star Wars: The Force Awakens to the excitement of fans who have been waiting for a new Battlefront game for years. While the online gameplay is superb, many complained about a lack of content and one star from the movie has expressed the same sentiment.

John Boyega has been around for awhile in the acting scene, but he snagged his biggest role to date with Finn in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Serving as one of the stars, his character was very well received by the fans and looks to be a big part of future films.

Boyega says he has been playing Battlefront for years and really likes the new game, but inquired about a lack of single player content in Star Wars Battlefront in a tweet to the official EA Star Wars Twitter.

“@EAStarWars Will fans get a full on offline story mode? It’s more of an enjoyable way to learn controls.”

The EAStarWars Twitter responded by asking “Have you had a chance to try the Missions?” This is the game’s only real single player element, but it’s nowhere near a story mode. Boyega then responded back by saying “yeah thought it was great! But definitely leaves you wanting to engage within a narrative.”

The conversation didn’t end there though, as Boyega asked EA if he could visit their UK branch, in which they told him “sounds like a date.” While we know that Star Wars Battlefront won’t have any Force Awakens content added, hopefully this could form a relationship to where he would voice Finn in a future game for EA.
