Guerrilla Games and Sony have officially launched the Killzone 3 free to play multiplayer demo on the PlayStation Store. Â Available now, the extended multiplayer demo will allow players to rank up all the way to Sergeant, before being asked to pay up for the ability to level further.
To mark the event, Guerrilla Games has announced that the game will see a double XP event to make returning worthwhile for Killzone 3 vets. Â The double XP event will kick off this Friday and will run all the way to Monday This week’s activities will mark a new era multiplayer titles, Killzone 3 being one of the first to break away at a fraction of the price as a standalone product.
The multiplayer portion of the game comes in at a very reasonable price if you choose to carry on past the level cap. Â $15 will get you the full Killzone experience, and features the Guerrilla Warfare, Warzone and Operations game modes from the main game. Â You’ll also get access to all the DLC that has been released for Killzone 3, not a bad deal at all.
