Konami Details Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Soundtrack

Konami has now revealed more details on the official Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain soundtrack.

The Japanese Metal Gear Solid Twitter page announced:

From the “MGSV” music to vocal music, recorded a 2 CD set in large volumes well over 50 songs “METAL GEAR SOLID Ⅴ SOUNDTRACK ‘ (9 / 2 release) also is open for reservation now!

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain soundtrack has been listed on the Konami Japan website. It sounds like the soundtrack has the entire score from Ground Zeroes too. Donna Burke’s original song “Sins of the Father” is included as well as “Quiet’s Theme”. These are two songs listed as “original vocal songs”.

The Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain soundtrack wasn’t the only thing announced today. Konami Japan also listed another CD called “Vocal Tracks and Covers”.

This new CD will include some of the famous vocal songs from past Metal Gear Solid games too. Famitsu announced more details about this. The “Vocal Tracks and Covers” CD will include songs from MGS, MGS 2, MGS 3, MGS 4, Portable Ops Peace Walker and The Phantom Pain.

If you are a hardcore Metal Gear Solid fan, the new CD soundtracks are available to pre-order now from Japan. They will be available from September 2nd.
