Even though Konami announced its intentions to make mobile games, it looks like a new Yu-Gi-Oh! title will be released for the PS4 and Xbox One.
The USK has now rated a new game called Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of The Duelist for the PS4 and Xbox One. No other information has been revealed other than Konami is the game’s publisher.
The existence of Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of The Duelist on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles could be good news. Even if you are not a Yu-Gi-Oh! fan, it means Konami hasn’t abandoned console gaming forever.
Many people feared for Konami’s future with their announcement to focus on mobile gaming. Not to mention the company cancelled Silent Hills and no other new games have been announced. This also doesn’t include the whole drama surrounding Hideo Kojima too.
With Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of The Duelist coming on the new consoles, this could be a small sign that new games are actually being made by Konami. Some people also thought PES 2016 was cancelled too, but this is not the case.
Although Konami’s future is still foggy, they are still going to release console games. Hopefully they don’t focus too much energy on only mobile gaming.
