The popular Krystal character that was introduced in Star Fox Adventures is sadly not going to be included in Star Fox Zero.
PlatinumGames’ Yusuke Hashimoto confirmed on Twitter that Krystal will not be appearing in Star Fox Zero.
He said: “She won’t show up this time, but I’d love to put her in a sequel if we’d get to make one!”
Hashimoto is the co-director for the game and would like to see her in a sequel to Zero if it ever gets made. Sadly, she will not be appearing in the upcoming Wii U game.
Krystal became popular after her debut on Adventures for the Gamecube. However, it looks like Nintendo is making Zero have a more old-school feel as it’s mainly the original crew in the new game.
Star Fox Zero is the newest game in the popular franchise and will be released next April. It has an April 22nd, 2016 release date for both North America and Europe.
Unlike Adventures, Zero is more of a traditional Star Fox game where you will be piloting many vehicles. Adventures was an odd departure as it was conceived as a new IP until Nintendo decided to shoe-horn Star Fox characters to the mix.
