A new short TV spot was released for Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens showcasing a potential lightsaber duel between Kylo Ren and Finn.

It was revealed at D23 that Finn (John Boyega) wields a blue lightsaber. This new footage shows that the character will have to go up against Kylo Ren in the woods.

Apart from that one scene, nothing else interesting was revealed. We see Rey (Daisy Ridley) looking scared plus another look at The First Order. The shot of The First Order was already revealed by a Korean TV spot.

It’s interesting to see Finn using a lightsaber. It’s possible Luke Skywalker shows him the ways of the force. As for Kylo Ren, J.J. Abrams recently said he’s not a Sith, although he serves the character of Snoke (Andy Serkis).

It is also possible we will see at least one more full length trailer between now and December 18th. Hopefully it shows more footage without spoiling too much of the movie. Terminator Genysis still has the worst trailer for 2015 by spoiling a big reveal…

Next week is September 4th which is being dubbed “Force Friday”. This is an exciting day because all of the Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens toys will be officially available. Hopefully another teaser is posted next week too.
