Left 4 Dead 2 Community Mutation: Special Delivery

by | @AttackFanboy | on December 18, 2010

The first Left 4 Dead 2 Community Mutation, Special Delivery is now live on Steam and Xbox 360.  It’s not for the feint of heart though.  Special Delivery throws nothing but Special Infected at you the whole time.  There are no Common Infected populating the maps, and the mod is, how should I say this…challenging.

Reviving downed teammates takes painstaking levels of communication and teamwork.  Honestly, I haven’t made it through a section let alone a full campaign.  It’s that hard.

Valve also tightened up some other areas of Left 4 Dead 2 in the update.  On Steam they added special protection for servers..math..math..science..  And also fixed an exploit that would cause players to fall through the elevator on No Mercy.

Finally, the crownable witch in Realism Versus has been fixed as well.

These updates are free on Steam of course, and Xbox Live users rejoice in the fact that Microsoft is not making you pay for this exclusive community content!
