Some sad news for those of you wanting to play The Legend of Zelda Wii U because its release date has been delayed yet again. To kind of lighten up the mood, a Nintendo NX version of the game has been confirmed.
Nintendo Japan announced on Twitter: “Wii U, was expected to launch in 2016 [news] “Zelda the legend ‘ is the latest, but further quality improvement for the launch in 2017 to extend you. We appreciate your understanding. The U.S. Wii version and will be released at the same time, promoting development of the NX version.”
If you missed the news, the Nintendo NX will be released globally on March 2017. This may be the time that The Legend of Zelda Wii U gets released so this is why the game has been delayed until next year.
This is both a good and bad thing. The good part is that the delay enables Nintendo to polish up the game and make it better. Recent video games have been released at an awful state.
The only bad thing is that fans have to wait even longer to play the game. It was originally expected that The Legend of Zelda Wii U would be out in Fall 2015. It was delayed until 2016 and now it will come out in 2017 instead.
