A developer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt revealed a ton of new information on the game for the fans.
Senior Game Designer, Damien Monnier, went on his official Twitter to answer a ton fan questions on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Talking about the combat system in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Monnier said Dark Souls was a “big influence for sure“. He also said the combat is fast and responsive.
Monnier admitted that the hardest thing to develop in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt were the “amount of unique npcs being displayed on screen“. There was a lot of thinking power that was needed to make them all work.
Travelling on a boat in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt sounds like it will be a dangerous journey. Not only will there be creatures in the water, but you have to battle storms as well. The boat is also destructible so you have to watch out for rocks too.
If you plan on completing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and all of its side-quests, you are in for a long ride. Monnier estimates that completing the game at 100 percent could take over “200+ hours“.
It sounds like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will not disappoint. It’s going to be a game that will keep its owners occupied for a very long.
