Capcom has announced that the first set of DLC characters for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will launch on Oct. 17 and has released a new trailer showing them in action.
From the Marvel universe we get the ruler of the technologically-advanced African nation of Wakanda, Black Panther, while the Capcom universe bring us Sigma, the first and most powerful reploid created by reverse-engineering X. In addition to the two, Monster Hunter, who was already revealed in a trailer a little while ago, will also join the fray.
All three will launch alongside their premium costumes free of charge.
With the addition of these three characters, Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite’s roster will be expanded to 33, before growing to 36 by the end of the year with the inclusion of Winter Soldier, Black Widow, and Venom.
All of these characters are part of the “2017 Character Pass” which allows buyers to get each character as they become available.
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is available now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
