MCU Spider-Man Movie May Have Found Its Green Goblin

Marvel’s Spider-Man movie reboot may have found the actor who is playing Norman Osborn already. Is the Green Goblin going to be the main villain again?

YouTube channel, “ThatHashtagShow“, revealed that Marvel and Sony are interested in Matthew Matthew McConaughey to play Norman Osborn in the new Spider-Man movie. Spider-Man fans will already know that Norman Osborn becomes the Green Goblin. Does this mean the movie will use the character for a third time?

Comic Book Movie notes that Matthew McConaughey read scripts from both DC and Marvel recently. There is some validity to this report. Not to mention Matthew McConaughey has the right look to play a businessman like Norman Osborn. It remains to be seen if we will see yet another version of the Green Goblin in Marvel’s Spider-Man movie.

If this turns out to be true, some fans are a little annoyed that Marvel’s Spider-Man movie is reusing the same villains. Spider-Man has numerous villains, yet the movie studios love to use the Green Goblin all of the time. We’ve never seen a decent Venom before and Carnage hasn’t appeared in any movie yet.
