Update: Hideo Kojima has updated fans about the length of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.

Original Story:

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is apparently very short. An article in this month’s Game Informer magazine reveals that the prologue to Metal Gear Solid V, which is due out next month, is only two hours long.

A preview of the upcoming title that recently ran in this month’s Game Informer magazine, claims “We completed it in just less than two hours”. Even by downloadable content standards these days, two hours seems awfully short. Though the preview does claim that this two hour measure was “judged just by the core story mission”.

Ground Zeroes is commanding a premium price, however. Metal Gear fans will be asked to pay $30 for the physical editions on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 ($20 for digital download). And Xbox One and PS4 owners will need to pay up twice as much at $40 for a physical copy ($30 for digital).

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is due out next month for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. T
