Microsoft may not be in pole position in terms of worldwide sales, but they still want to make the Xbox One console the best it can possibly be.

Microsoft’s head of Xbox games marketing, Aaron Greenberg, had a lot to say about the Xbox One’s approach during The Inner Circle Podcast.

He noted that for now, the focus for the Xbox One is a “slow and steady approach“. Microsoft has a clear plan on what it wants to do for the console in the near future. They want to continue providing the “best games” and also make it the “best platform for gamers“.

Greenberg felt 2014 was a good year for the Xbox One, and hopes do do the same thing again in 2015. He feels Microsoft continues to innovate and always releases great games. He says if they follow this strategy, then Microsoft should be all right.

The Xbox One is still gaining ground and 2015 will be a big year for Microsoft. Halo 5: Guardians is of course their biggest release of 2015. The company also has Rise of the Tomb Raider as well. Forza Motorsport 6 will also be out later this year. This doesn’t include some unannounced games Microsoft may have in store too.
