Might & Magic Heroes VII may not even be out yet but it seems that Limbic Entertainment and Ubisoft already have ideas for expansions.
In a recent Q&A regarding the upcoming strategy adventure title, Might & Magic Heroes VII, we asked Erwan Le Breton, the Creative Director over the game at Ubisoft Paris if they are working on any ideas for expansions at this stage in development. Erwan replied, “It’s just the legacy of the series. Unless the game is not successful at all, which we don’t believe, there’s a good chance there will be expansions.”
Fans will be happy to know that the game will have extended longevity after the title launches later this year. It already has a bolstering community of over 200,000 active users on the forums so there is a lot of interest in the upcoming title. It will be interesting to see what makes the cut to future expansions since the main game is touted as a culmination of everything the fans and community asked for. What more could be left? New factions, areas or more.
I guess we will find out post-launch, but until then be sure to check out our hands-on preview of Might & Magic Heroes VII’s Stronghold campaign.
