Sony announced today that Minecraft would be coming to PlayStation 4 at launch. Apparently, Microsoft exclusive partnership with Mojang has ended, allowing for the block builder to arrive on the PlayStation platform.
Sony didn’t say if it would be 4J Studios in charge of making the game for the PlayStation 4, but a tweet ahead of the press conference from the developer gave a small hint at the announcement.
Minecraft has been a huge success on the Xbox 360. Both as a digital download and as disc-based release, Minecraft has sold 8 million copies for Microsoft.
