Mojang and Warner Bros. are teaming up for a live-action Minecraft movie. “Leaked” by the game’s creator, Markus “Notch” Persson, few details are known about the upcoming movie.

Deadline Hollywood reports that Roy Lee (The Lego Movie) will produce the Minecraft movie, after the success of the other block based movie.

Video game movies have traditionally been abysmal. Super Mario Bros, Street Fighter, and other popular game franchises over the years have seen movies made about them, and they almost always end up as flaming trash. Here’s hoping Warner Bros can do something with this wildly popular series.

There’s no word on when this movie will arrive in theaters.
