Telltale Games has certainly tightened up their release schedule with Minecraft: Story Mode. The game, which began releasing episodes in October, will see its penultimate fourth episode hit some time this month, according to the developer. The finale, Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 5, will follow at some point in 2016, likely pretty early if this trend continues to the end of the series.

Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 4 will be titled “Order Up” and is said to “bring one story to a close” with Episode 5 being called “mysterious” by Telltale. Minecraft: Story Mode follows the adventures of Jesse and his group of friends. A horrible creature has been unleashed upon the land, and it’s up to Jesse and his friends to reunite the Order of the Stone to fight it off. Three episodes have been released so far, of varying qualities.

Many, including us, thought that Minecraft: Story Mode wasn’t quite living up to its potential with the first two episodes. However, the third one seemed to set the series on the right track, delivering some great moments, and pushing the story in really interesting ways. The legacy of the series will rely heavily on how well these last two episodes follow up on Episode 3’s success.
