Mortal Kombat 11 Sees The Return of Jade

Shown today during the Kombat Kast, longtime favorite Jade will be back this year in Mortal Kombat 11. Alongside her fast combo’s and flashy move set, Jade will be utilizing her signature weapon, the Bo Staff for even more brutal bone breaking attacks. For those who remember the story line, Jade actually perished during the events of Mortal Kombat 9, and was revived as a revenant for the Netherrealm forces. Her current outfit showcases just how dark she has become, with glowing eyes, pale skin, and a look that screams evil, Jade just might be the best looking fighter on the roster so far.

Like the other fighters in the game, Jade has three different variants, each one using the Bo Staff in one form or another, including the ability to teleport. Another unique feature that Jade has is the ability to parry projectile attacks, something that isn’t usually seen in Mortal Kombat. Her fatality in particular is not only gory, but also very spiteful of her opponent, and it’s absolutely glorious. Along with Jade will also be longtime stalwarts from the series such as Kano, Kabal, Scorpion, and Sub-Zero. We’re still a couple of months away from the game releasing, and it’s more than likely that we’ll see more fighter reveals and maybe some surprises.

Mortal Kombat 11 launches on April 23 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
