It was earlier in the week when Naughty Dog first revealed that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End would be receiving single player DLC much to the surprise of many fans. While speaking at the GameStop Expo, developer Arne Meyer, went into detail on why the team decided to include a single player add-on. The success of The Last of Us: Left Behind was noted as a major contributing factor.

“It worked really well for us for The Last of Us. We thought we could put together a really great piece of content as well [for Uncharted 4]. I think we rose to the challenge for The Last of Us, so we decided we’re going to take another shot at it.”

The DLC will be released with the Uncharted Triple Pack that will also include two online packs and rare multiplayer items. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End releases on March 18th, 2016 on PS4. I loved Left Behind in the Last of Us, and can’t wait to see what Naughty Dog plans to cook up for Nathan’s next adventure, though I am curious as to when the single player DLC will take place, but no details have been given yet.
