NBA 2K14 will run at a native 1080p on BOTH the Xbox One and PS4, according to Visual Concepts director James Thomas. The launch title for both consoles is set to arrive next month, and is one game that has gotten next-gen early adopters hopeful about the sports genre.
From all the reports leading up to the launch of the PS4 and Xbox One, it’s pretty sad that the 1080p benchmark is such an accomplishment. We could be hearing a lot about these native resolutions as developers come to grips with the new technology on both consoles.
NBA 2K14 is already out on the Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation 3. The next-generation of the popular hoops franchise will go head-to-head with NBA Live 14 next month when the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One arrive.
