EA Sports promises that NBA Live 16 will release on time and won’t suffer any sort of delay or cancellation like in previous years.

A fan asked the official NBA Live twitter page if this year’s game will be pushed back. EA Sports answered: “There’s certainly been no plans for that.”

If people remember correctly, NBA Live 15 had to be delayed by three weeks. It originally had a release date of October 7th, 2014, but was pushed back three weeks to October 28th, 2014.

In prior years, games like NBA Elite 11 and NBA Live 13 got cancelled altogether. However, it looks like EA Sports are confident now so they won’t be putting basketball games in hiatus anymore.

The fan asked the question in the first place because he feels the current September 29th, 2015 release date for NBA Live 16 is too early. EA Sports is certain the game should be ready by then.

September 29th, 2015 is an interesting date as EA Sports will directly compete with NBA 2K16. Both games will share the same store shelves on that day.

EA Sports have been making improvements and feel that NBA Live 16 can give NBA 2K16 a run for its money this year. It will be interesting to see which game can make fans happier.
