Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is the upcoming second entry in the very young DC Extended Universe of movies. Set to arrive on March 25, 2016, we are officially under four months from release and for those clamoring for more footage, we are set to get more tonight.
Gotham is in its second season on Fox and has stepped it up by quite a lot this season, easily providing one of the most entertaining hours on television right now with a good mix of dark storylines and campy situations.
The series focuses on Jim Gordon and a young Bruce Wayne, so Batman is nowhere in sight on it yet,but it is very fitting for a promo for Batman v Superman to show during it, and that is exactly what we are getting.
During tonight’s fall finale for Gotham, a brand new sneak peak of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be shown, though no details on what the footage will be, whether a new trailer or maybe an actual scene.
There was once a rumor of there being two different new trailers, one focused on Batman and one on Superman, with one airing during Gotham and the other during Supergirl, but for now we only know of something coming during Gotham. It would make a lot of sense if this trailer or scene was Batman centric though.
This announcement was made in a pretty funny way with the cast of Gotham being asked in a video who they would pick in this showdown. You can watch the video below, with the last part easily being the best.
