New Exclusive Xbox 360 Content Rumored for Mortal Kombat

It’s long been known that the PlayStation 3 version of Mortal Kombat will feature an exclusive character.  Kratos, The God of War, will be exclusive content for the PlayStation 3 version of the game.  What about Xbox 360 you may ask.  Ed Boon has hinted at some special features for the Xbox 360 version of the game, and we may be getting our first look at some of these unnannounced features.

A list of exclusive features to the Xbox 360 version of the game has hit Mortal Kombat forums and here are some of the things being discussed.  Please keep in mind that none of these features have been confirmed by NetherRealm.

Exclusive Mode for Xbox 360:  Puzzle Kombat with online play, leaderboards, and avatar support.
Exclusive Arena for Xbox 360: – The Pit 360, a remake of The Pit III from Mortal Kombat III.
Exclusive King of the Hill Mode to include Xbox Live Avatars:  (Picture Below)
Exclusive DLC: Lady in Red will be available to Xbox Live members as a free download
Exclsuive Avatar Gear:  Available for purchase on Xbox Live Marketplace.

A recent event for the game outed the avatar inclusion in the game when the image below was leaked from the press event.  So while you may have been scratching your head wondering why you should even consider buying the Xbox 360 version of the game, it looks like Ed Boon wasn’t lying when he said there are some surprises in store for Xbox 360 loyalists.
