Capcom has released the third story trailer from the upcoming fighting game Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. The video depicts the plot of the new game and how all heroes from both companies work together to face a new powerful evil: the hybrid robot Ultron Sigma. The thrilling narrative of the trailer is actually reminiscing of the modern Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, keeping a good balance of action, character presentations, and comedy bits. And it’s not only the Marvel heroes the ones who shine, as there are some great scenes reserved for Capcom characters such as Chris and Nemesis.

The description of the video on Youtube also confirms the roster to consist on 30 characters at time of launch. A number that will grow with the subsequent release of new DLC content, like it will happen with heroes from the X-Men franchise. The latest playable characters confirmed are Jedah, Dormammu, Firebrand and Ghost Rider, which will have more details announced at this month’s Gamescom in Germany. Previous characters confirmed at last Comic Con include Spider-Man, Frank West, and Haggar.

There is also new information about the different game modes, which will include Story, Arcade, Mission, Training, VS. Player 2, VS. CPU, and Collection for offline games, and Ranked Match, Casual Match, Beginners League, Lobby, Rankings, and Replay for playing online.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite launches on September 19 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Watch the new trailer below.
