EA and DICE have revealed some new details on the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront beta happening this October.
On the official website, it was revealed that the beta will consist of both “offline and online modes including co-op and split-screen co-op“. It will take place on PS4, Xbox One and via Origin on PC.
This is interesting because most betas are online multplayer experiences. It is kind for DICE to allow some offline split-screen modes to be a part of the beta. EA and DICE are still yet to confirm on a definite release date for the beta though.
In terms of online multiplayer, the beta will have the Walker Assault and Drop Zone games modes for you to try out. For offline gamers, the Survival Mission mode will be available for you in the beta. It is a level set in Tatooine.
EA and DICE ended the post to answer all of the questions fans have been asking. It sounds like bots will only exist in the Fighter Squadron mode. They didn’t mention if bots are available in other game modes sadly.
Star Wars Battlefront releases from November 17th, 2015 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
