2K Sports has now announced three new retro teams that will be in NBA 2K16. This has been done thanks to multiple fan requests.
2KTV’s Rachel Demita visited 2K headquarters to know more about the new features that we can expect to see in NBA 2K16. She managed to talk with Scott O’ Gallagher who is the gameplay producer for the NBA 2K series. He revealed three new retro teams that will be in the game.
Gallagher was only allowed to reveal three teams that will be in NBA 2K16. First, the ’99-’00 Toronto Raptors team will be added. This is when Vince Carter was in his prime. Another popular team in the game is the 2008 Boston Celtics. This team was stacked with Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett and a young Rajon Rondo. Lastly, the Los Angeles Lakers from 2001 will be in the game. This is when Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’ Neal were dominant.
Gallagher answered “oh yeah” when he was asked if NBA 2K16 will be adding more new teams. If you have a favorite retro team, they might be revealed at a later date. We may also see some more International teams too if people want them in there.
