A recent job listing suggests Microsoft and 343 Industries may be planning a new Halo game they have yet to announce about.

A job listing has been posted by 343 Industries on the Microsoft Careers website. The studio is looking for a “Senior Producer to help develop a new project line in the Halo universe”. The key words to remember here is “new project”. This project hasn’t been announced yet so will be something different 343 Industries is planning for the Halo franchise.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Halo 5: Guardians will be out exclusively on Xbox One in 2015. The game will star Master Chief and also a new character named Agent Locke. Nothing else has been revealed so far about the game so far, but more on Agent Locke will be unveiled in the Halo: Nightfall web series due out later this year.

At E3, it was revealed the Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be released on Xbox One this November. The collection includes Halo 1-4 all remade and all with the multiplayer maps. You will also get access to the Halo 5: Guardians beta too.

This job listing suggests that a new game in the franchise is also going to be made. It will be interesting to see what Microsoft and 343 Industries is currently planning. Will we ever see a Halo Wars 2?
