EA Sports NHL 16 is available now for EA Access subscribers, and many gamers are squite sad it’s still missing things from the older games.
The good news is that NHL 16 has more features than NHL 15, although the game is still missing several things. A NeoGAF user posted a list all of the features that have yet to be included again.
Here are the features still missing: “No GM connected, No EA Sports Arena, No Live the Life, No Be a Legend, No Winter Classic, No tournaments or Battle for the Cup, No NHL 94 Anniversary mode, No custom music support, No create-a-play designer, Cannot customize each team’s AI, No create-a-team, No custom camera option plus no tournaments and no mobile app in Ultimate Team.”
Thankfully, the game still has more content than the bare boned NHL 15. The game is also confirmed to be running at 1080p and 30fps on both the PS4 and Xbox One.
EA Access gives subscribers 10 hours worth of gameplay before the game comes out from September 15th. The file size is roughly 18GB so make sure you have enough hard drive space to fit the game in.
Hopefully while each year passes, more and more features are added back in. There’s not a worse feeling than buying a new game and finding out it has less features than before.
